Our Purpose

At Licensure Supervision LLC, we believe that becoming a licensed behavioral health professional should be an empowering and supportive journey—not one filled with confusion, gatekeeping, or financial barriers.

Our company was founded to transform the clinical supervision experience by offering transparent, accessible, ethical, and high-quality clinical supervision to professionals across Oklahoma and beyond. Licensees should be have supervision that meets the needs of their future career goals, not simply a cold call response to a mass email, or "they have an opening". Who a licensee chooses to guide them through the clinical supervision process matters, and our goal is to facilitate that connection as smoothly as possible, helping you get the most out of supervision.

We are committed to elevating the behavioral health workforce by connecting emerging professionals with supervisors who are not only board-approved and experienced but also deeply invested in mentorship, clinical growth, and long-term career development.

Our Story

Licensure Supervision LLC was founded by a clinician and educator who recognized a critical need in the behavioral health community:

Supervisees were struggling to find supervisors who aligned with their goals, values, or clinical interests.
Supervisors had the expertise and willingness to teach but lacked a centralized, professional platform to connect with qualified supervisees.

What began as a local initiative quickly evolved into a statewide movement to increase access, equity, and transparency in licensure supervision—with the ultimate goal of strengthening Oklahoma’s behavioral health workforce and improving outcomes for the communities we serve.

Every supervisor in our network completes a comprehensive application covering over 30 data points, including:

Supervision philosophy and approach to challenging situations

Meet the Founder

Austin McCoy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, social work educator, and Board-approved clinical supervisor with extensive experience in child, adolescent, and community mental health. Throughout his career, he has worked in school-based, community-based, and clinical settings, providing therapy, crisis intervention, and support services to individuals and families across Oklahoma.

As a clinical supervisor, Austin has supported new professionals in their journey toward independent licensure, guiding them through the complexities of clinical decision-making, ethics, and practice development. His commitment to mentorship and professional growth led him to recognize a growing problem in the behavioral health field: many licensure candidates were struggling to find supervisors who aligned with their goals, offered transparent pricing, or were even accepting supervisees at all.

Driven by this need, Austin founded Licensure Supervision LLC to create a more accessible, equitable, and transparent pathway to licensure. The platform was built to eliminate barriers, provide clarity, and ensure that every emerging professional—regardless of location or background—has access to high-quality supervision that supports their long-term career success.

Austin is also a foster and adoptive parent, and his personal experiences navigating systems of care have shaped his dedication to strengthening the behavioral health workforce. He believes that when we invest in the development of clinicians, we invest in healthier families, stronger communities, and a more resilient mental health system.
